Our Receptionists

Stephanie Reynolds
Stephanie is our weekend receptionist/assistant. She came to Cat Care in 1995 after having volunteered
at the S.P.C.A. for two years and having been a satisfied Cat Care client since Dr. Mahanes opened the clinic in
1993. Stephanie has returned to college to further her education. Stephanie, her husband Michael,
and their daughter Frances share their home with 3 beloved cats (Beamer, Beau, and Dunie).

Angela Polaro
Angela has worked at Cat Care since 1997. She works full-time and plays many roles including
receptionist, groomer and assisting the Doctors and Technicians. She has 2 wonderful children, James and
Gabriel, a yellow lab Piper and several cats. Angela enjoys baking cakes, reading and scrapbooking when
she's not spending time with her kids.

Mary Ann DeLuce
Mary Ann has lived in Earlysville since 2003. This is her second time living in the area
after moving here from Florida. She is married to Don, and has 3 grown children. Mary Ann's
4-legged children consist of 7 cats, 2 dogs, and a horse. Mary Ann's family loves animals and enjoys
their company. Mary Ann has worked for Veterinarians in Florida as well and feels very lucky to be at
a feline practice.

Amanda Scott
Amanda is proud to hail from the great state of Texas. She’s a country girl who has been around animals
all her life so getting the chance to work with them is very exciting and fun. She has been at Cat Care since
2009. She loves living in Charlottesville, even if there are trees everywhere! When not working,
Amanda spends her time with friends, cooking, and playing the piano.

Kyle Schwandt
Kyle has been working at Charlottesville Cat Care Clinic on and off since 1999. Currently he works part
time on Saturdays. He works full-time at Biotage here in Charlottesvile as a Material Planner of Organic and
Medicinal Chemistry systems. He is the proud owner of a dog Lola, and one cat Ross (who likes to torture
Lola).
